Ingredients
* 8 ounces 1/2-inch-thick steaks, such that as rib-eye, trimmed down of fat and cut into 2 portions
* 1 teaspoonful chili powder
* 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
* 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
* 2 plum tomatoes, diced
* 2 teaspoonfuls lime juice
* 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
Preparation
1. Both sides of steak is sprinkled with chili powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt is added (make sure you are smile in this step ;D ).
2. The oil in a medium skillet over medium- high heat is heated.The steaks is added and cooked, turning once 1 to 2 minutes per side for medium-rare.
3. The steaks is transferred to a plate covered with foil and continue the rest while making the salsa.
4. For the next step, other sweet ingredients such as tomatoes, lime juice and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt is added to the pan and cook, stirring often, until the tomatoes soften ,maybe it takes time around 3 to 5 minutes. After that, remove from heat, stir in cilantro and any accumulated juices from the steaks. You may serve the steaks topped with the salsa.
